Latent Content
“Changing countries.
Moving between cities, from one house to another.
Where is home?
Am I going to find it losing myself in these ephemeral spaces?
I’m escaping, suspended in environments created by intersecting layers.
Looking for something beyond the surface never forgetting what is on top of it, and merging the depths that I’m facing.
Staring right through this looking-glass something more is revealed, a latent content which enables me to feels safe.”
_______________
Latent Content it’s a project that has materialized from a feeling of confusion and dizziness that I felt when I arrived in London.

The series is composed of whispering images, whose meaning is not shouted out loud but needs time to be understood.
What’s crucial for me is the underlying emotion and the thoughts that arise from the photographs.
My purpose is to place the viewer in a position where he does not understand on which side of the surface he is standing, where he lose his references and free his imagination so as I did while shooting the photographs: when I was creating spaces that can be considered as thresholds between different times and worlds.
